Traffic Management

Cr Bill Stewart has either initiated or supported improvements with the implementation of a number of ‘traffic management’ measures through numerous projects with the support of Council – some examples below.

Cr Bill Stewart has supported the following initiatives to address traffic problems:

• Elsie Street – traffic calming measures.
• Arnott Street – traffic calming measures.
• Duart Road/Kitchener Street traffic improvements.
• Drabble Road – traffic calming measures.
• Milverton Avenue, Karrinyup – streetscape.
• North Beach Road, Karrinyup – streetscape.
• Scarborough Traffic Grid – numerous improvements.
• Elliott Road – traffic calming measures.
• The Esplanade, Scarborough – posted speed limit of 20km.
• Beach Road, Watermans Bay – streetscape improvements.
• Brighton Road, Scarborough – traffic calming measures.
• Duke St/ Sackville Terrace, Scarborough – roundabout.
• Sackville Terrace, Scarborough – streetscape.
• Pearl Parade, Scarborough – streetscape.
• West Coast Drive, North Beach, Trigg, Watermans Bay – streetscape and posted speed limit to 50km.
• North Beach Rd, North Beach – roundabouts plus improved off street parking.
• Francis Av/Devonport St, Karrinyup – roundabout.
• Establishment of the posted 50km speed limit throughout our local roads.
• Kitchener Street, North Beach – streetscape.
• Karrinyup Rd, Trigg – improved slip lane from West Coast Drive.
